The eighth day of the Pio Monte

Fabrizia Paternò continues her leadership of the Pio Monte, a charity founded centuries ago by seven young nobles. Paternò, a member of the Dukes of San Nicola, became the first woman to lead the institution when she was elected four years ago.

Before her election, Paternò worked as a speech and language therapist at the Policlinico of Naples. She noted that her professional background helped her learn to care for the family as a system.
