The Fetzer Institute announces Dr. Andrew Serazin as next president and CEO

The Fetzer Institute named Dr. Andrew Serazin as its next president and CEO, effective January 2027. Serazin will succeed Dr. Jeffrey Bullock, who has been serving as interim CEO.

The appointment follows a global search led by the board of trustees. Dan Cardinali, chair of the board of trustees, stated that Serazin possesses a combination of vision and lived experience that aligns with the original directive of the institute's founder, John E. Fetzer.

The institute intends to use Serazin's leadership to explore the intersection of science and spirituality. This move aims to reconnect the organization with its founding goal of using scientific rigor and openness to address contemporary challenges through the lens of sacred love.
