The persistence of the Buscadoras

Religious women are working alongside families to search for missing persons.

Dolores Ramírez Ramírez, a Carmelite of the Sacred Heart known as Mother Lolita, helped establish a space to offer comfort to relatives of the missing, including those traveling from Guadalajara. Paola Clerico, a nun from the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, has participated in hundreds of field missions with these families. Clerico stated that working with the relatives has taught her how to be a nun.
