Brendan O’Regan reported for The Irish Catholic that efforts to remove the three-day waiting period for accessing abortion services have drawn limited public attention.

O’Regan noted that such legislative changes often begin with liberalization that the public and parliamentarians accept, only for safeguards to be gradually reduced despite previous assurances.
