The Vatican launches a website for its energy farm, which will make it the first country with 100% green energy

The Fratello Sole Foundation has launched a website to share information about its agrivoltaic facility at Santa Maria di Galeria. The new platform, available at www.fondazionefratellosole.va, provides details on the foundation's mission and its environmental transition project.

Pope Leo XIV established the foundation through a chirograph on June 1, 2026, to build and manage the energy facility. The project intends to power all current and future facilities at the site and provide the entire energy supply for Vatican City State.

The website includes sections for the papal chirograph, project news, and contact information. Visitors can access technical details regarding the agrivoltaic technology and the local ecological transition through the project section.
