The Word That Shapes Us: A reflection on the FDLC National Meeting

Father Michael Chrisman shared reflections on the importance of liturgical preparation following his attendance at the FDLC National Meeting.

Chrisman noted that prayerful preparation helps lectors proclaim scripture clearly. He described how the sung psalm provides words to answer God and how silence helps the Word take root. He stated that the proclamation of the Word prepares people to receive Christ at the Eucharistic table and to carry his love into the world.
