The Diocese of Quy Nhon announced that the 2026 priestly retreat will center on the Apostolic Exhortation Dilexi Te. The theme follows the first Beatitude from the Gospel of Luke, which states that the poor in spirit are blessed because theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The retreat focuses on a path of faith derived from the teachings of Pope Francis. According to the Diocese of Quy Nhon, the Pope expressed a desire for a Church that is bruised, wounded, and dirty from going out into the streets rather than a Church that is sickly because it remains confined to its own safety.
