Thursday October 1st: The Little Way
The Diocese of Port of Spain shared a reflection on October 1, 2026, regarding the spiritual teachings of St. Thérèse.
The reflection compares the desire for status and validation to the Gospel passage in Matthew 18:1-5, where Jesus places a child among his disciples to teach about greatness in the kingdom of heaven. The author notes that while many seek importance through accomplishments, St. Thérèse practiced a "Little Way" centered on performing small tasks with great love and maintaining complete trust in God.
