Three martyrs beatified in Bolonha

The Church beatified three martyrs in Bologna, recognizing Elia Comini, Martino Capelli, and Ubaldo Marchioni for their deaths during SS massacres in the Monte Sole area in 1944. The group included a diocesan priest, a Salesian, and a Dehonian.

During the ceremony, Dehonian Superior General Carlos Suárez described the men as Christians who lived according to the Gospel through their service to the vulnerable. The beatification followed a three day period of prayer and a pilgrimage.
