Tres ciudades, una historia: los lugares de santo Domingo de Guzmán se unen en un proyecto común

Three European towns are launching a joint project called DOMINICUS to preserve the historical and spiritual heritage linked to Saint Dominic de Guzmán. The initiative connects Caleruega, Fanjeaux, and Rieti.

The project will hold meetings and exchanges between the three locations from its presentation on September 26 in Caleruega until May 2027. Caleruega is the birthplace of Dominic, who was born around 1170 to Felix de Guzman and Juana de Aza. Fanjeaux marks a period of his preaching in the Languedoc region during the early 13th century. Rieti is the site where Gregory IX signed his canonization.
