Triduo a la Virgen de los Dolores

Archbishop Florencio Roselló delivered a homily at San Lorenzo Church in Pamplona on September 15 to mark the conclusion of a novena to the Virgen de los Dolores.

Roselló spoke about how sinners, the poor, and the marginalized often experience loneliness and isolation. He stated that Mary understands these individuals because she experienced loneliness herself, particularly while standing at the foot of the cross.

Roselló encouraged the faithful to view the image of the Virgen de los Dolores as a refuge for sinners and a helper for the helpless. He described her as a mother who remains standing when all seems lost, noting that her expression and posture reflect a faith that stays to pray and accompany others through pain.
