Trump cancels livestream of Nidal Hasan execution
President Donald Trump canceled a plan to livestream the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan on Oct. 15, following opposition from Catholic leaders and U.S. bishops. Hasan, a former U.S. Army psychiatrist, was convicted for a 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, that killed 13 people and injured 32 others.
