Tucho Fernández visitará Madrid para abordar los desafíos de la inteligencia artificial

Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández will visit Madrid on September 30 to discuss the challenges of artificial intelligence. The prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith will participate in a session titled "The Lessons of the Encyclical Letter Magnifica Humanitas: An AI Centered on People" at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas.

The event, organized by the Observatorio Diego de Pantoja of the Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales, examines artificial intelligence through the lens of the encyclical Magnifica Humanitas by León XIV. Fernández will speak for 45 minutes alongside Andrés Allamand, the exministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Chile and current secretario general iberoamericano.

The session is scheduled between 18:30 and 20:45 and will be presented by the rector of Comillas, Antonio Allende Felgueroso SJ. Other participants include José María Lassalle, Marta Pedrajas, and J. Alejandro Kawabata. The meeting aims to contribute to reflections on artificial intelligence and support debates ahead of the Reunión de Ministras.
