Bishop Cosma Hoàng Văn Ðạt ordained

Bishop Cosma Hoàng Văn Đạt was ordained a bishop on October 7, 2008, at the Bac Ninh diocesan headquarters square. The ordination mass coincided with the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the patroness of the Bac Ninh diocese.

The ceremony included clergy, religious brothers and sisters, laypeople, guests from other religions, and more than 100 leprosy patients. Attendees participated in a cultural festival the previous evening before gathering for the morning mass.
