U.S. Ursulines Unite as One Region, Strengthening Mission for the Future

The Eastern, Central, and Western Provinces of the Ursulines of the Roman Union merged on Oct. 1 to form the Ursulines of the Roman Union, USA Region. This new structure brings sisters across the country under a single leadership team to simplify governance and allow for shared resources and collaboration in their ministries.

Sr. Dianne Baumunk, OSU, who previously led the Western Province, serves as the new regional leader. She is joined by a four-member leadership team including Sr. Peggy Moore, OSU, as central area councilor; Sr. Patricia Schifini, OSU, as eastern area councilor; and Sr. Margaret Johnson, OSU, as western area councilor.
