Pope Leo XIV encouraged a delegation from Oriel College, University of Oxford, to pursue truth and support a holistic education during a meeting on September 4. The meeting marked the 700th anniversary of the college receiving its charter.

The Pope stated that education should be built on human dignity, justice, and the ability to serve the common good.
