Une messe de secteur peut en cacher d’autres

More than 250 people from the Notre-Dame du Ventoux sector gathered in Bédoin on Sunday, September 13, for an outdoor mass at the Grandes Fontaines site. The Archdiocese of Avignon reported that the celebration included families, children from catechism classes, youth from the chaplaincy, and seniors. The event concluded with a shared meal to promote fraternity within the pastoral sector.

The outdoor setting was chosen to encourage parishioners to step outside their usual village church environments and experience the mass differently. Following the success of the Bédoin gathering, the sector will hold another mass in Caromb next Sunday to celebrate Saint Maurice, the patron of the village and its church.
