Vallási és kulturális értékek összekapcsolása a CET projekt keretében

The Catholic Event Tourism (CET) project held a professional and tourism event on September 12, 2026, to showcase religious and cultural sites in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Satu Mare counties. The project aims to preserve local heritage and strengthen cross-border cooperation through a partnership between the Szatmári Római Katolikus Egyházmegye, the Nyíregyházi Egyházmegye, and the Debrecen–Nyíregyházi Egyházmegye.

The program included the handover of the Szent Kereszt felmagasztalása – Szent Eleonóra church in Tiszavasvári. Renovations to the site included the church tower, the roof structure of the nave, a new fence, and a walkway.

Nearly 100 representatives from the partner dioceses and participants attended the event. Following a festive Mass and a presentation of the church, the group visited Tiszadada to explore local gastronomy and traveled to the Andrássy-kastély in Tiszadob. The event concluded with a performance by the Kaplonyi Fúvószenekar in the castle gardens.
