Vatican City will participate in the Taekwondo World Championship for the first time through Athletica Vaticana.

The participation follows a collaboration between Athletica Vaticana and the Italian Taekwondo Federation that has been developing for several years. Athletica Vaticana became a member of the world federation in 2021.
