Vedove tra preghiera, comunione e appartenenza

Members of the Ordo Viduarum recently gathered for a convention in Seveso to focus on prayer, communion, and shared identity. Participants shared their experiences of the meeting, which included periods of formation and fraternal exchange between members of the local group and those from neighboring dioceses.

Attendees noted that the convention highlighted the historical role of women in the Church, specifically referencing how Saint Ambrose viewed women in the fourth century as capable of contributing to the healing of society. One participant, Sabrina, noted that the event provided a space to share personal thoughts and feelings that she had not been able to express during private prayer. The gathering concluded with a celebration of the Eucharist at the Basilica of Saint Ambrose.
