Viaggio Apostolico di Sua Santità Papa Leone XIV in Uruguay, Argentina e Perù (6 - 17 novembre 2026)

Pope Leo XIV will travel to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru from November 6 to 17, 2026, according to a schedule released by the Holy See Press Office.

The trip begins on Friday, November 6, with the Pope arriving in Montevideo from Rome. His scheduled activities in the Uruguayan capital include a welcome ceremony at Plaza Independencia, a meeting with civil authorities and diplomats, and a visit to the President of the Republic at the Edificio José Artigas. He will conclude the first day by celebrating Vespers with bishops, priests, deacons, religious brothers and sisters, and seminarians at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and of Saints Filippo and Giacomo.

On Saturday, November 7, the Pope will fly to Paysandú to celebrate Mass at Parque París Londres. He will return to Montevideo in the afternoon for a meeting with the social community of Casavalle at the Parish of Nostra Signora di Guadalupe and a meeting with educators at the Catholic University of Uruguay. The day will end with a prayer vigil and a speech at the Centenario Stadium.
