Viaje apostólico de Su Santidad el Papa León XIV a Uruguay, Argentina y Perú (del 6 al 17 de noviembre de 2026)

Pope Leo XIV will travel to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru from November 6 to 17, 2026, according to the Holy See Press Office.

The trip begins on Friday, November 6, with the Pope flying from Rome to Montevideo. Upon arrival, he will attend a welcome ceremony at Plaza Independencia, meet with government authorities and diplomats, and visit the President of the Republic at the Edificio José Artigas. That evening, he will celebrate evening prayer with bishops, priests, deacons, religious men and women, and seminarians at the Catedral Metropolitana de la Inmaculada Concepción y San Felipe y Santiago.

On Saturday, November 7, the Pope will fly to Paysandú to celebrate Mass at Parque París Londres. He will return to Montevideo in the afternoon to meet with the community at the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe in Casavalle and visit the Universidad Católica de Uruguay. The day will conclude with a prayer vigil at the Estadio del Centenario.
