Vatican gardens and orchards have transitioned to 100% organic farming. The vegetable gardens and fruit trees located within Vatican City, which supply food to the Pope's Palace, are now managed entirely through organic methods.

This change follows a multi-year process inspired by Pope Francis's encyclical Laudato si’. The transition aims to respect nature by gradually reducing the use of chemical products.
