Warnung vor "Schatten-KI" / Kommunikationsforscher fordert KI-Strategie für die Kirche

Communication researcher Holger Sievert is calling for the Church to develop a comprehensive strategy for using artificial intelligence within its pastoral communities.

Speaking to the Evangelical Press Service, Sievert warned that failing to implement such a strategy could lead to the misuse of limited resources and failures in meeting data protection requirements. He stated that without a clear plan, the Church risks losing touch with the daily realities of people's lives.

Sievert described an artificial intelligence strategy not as an optional extra project, but as essential basic infrastructure necessary for the organization to remain viable.
