Pope Leo XIV provided three guidelines for supporting catechumens, neophytes, and those returning to the faith during a meeting at the Catholic Institute of Paris. The address followed his visit to the Maison Bakhita Center for Support and Social Integration as part of his apostolic journey.

The Pope spoke to members of the Provincial Synodal Assembly, priests, consecrated persons, and new believers. He addressed the need to accompany those on a path of faith in France, which has seen the highest number of conversions and adult baptisms over the past decade. During the meeting, the Pope also acknowledged the Instrumentum Laboris presented to him by the assembly.
