William Jennings named to American Hospital Association Board of Trustees

William Jennings has been elected to the Board of Trustees for the American Hospital Association. Jennings serves as the president of Hartford HealthCare’s Fairfield Region, where he manages operations and strategy for St. Vincent’s Medical Center and the Fairfield County network.

The American Hospital Association represents nearly 5,000 hospitals, health systems, and healthcare organizations across the United States. In this new role, Jennings will move from regional management to national healthcare policy-making. He intends to focus on issues such as protecting patient access, ensuring financial affordability, and addressing workforce shortages through recruitment and retention.
