World Mission Sunday | 2026

Parishes in the Archdiocese of Newark will observe World Mission Sunday on the weekend of Oct. 17-18, 2026. This annual Eucharistic celebration encourages Catholics to support people worldwide who lack food, shelter, and medical care.

The 100th World Mission Sunday includes a message from Pope Leo XIV, which is available in English and Spanish. The Pontifical Mission Societies provides resources for the observance, including promotional materials, social media assets, and parish bulletin announcements in both languages.
