World Mission Sunday 2026 | October 18

The Diocese of Kansas City-Saint Joseph will observe World Mission Sunday on October 18. This day serves as a global occasion for Catholics to unite in prayer and solidarity to support the missionary work of the Church.

During the second collection on this day, funds will help extend missionary work to areas where the Church is new, persecuted, poor, or where the Gospel has not yet been heard. These contributions support missionaries, priests, religious sisters and brothers, and lay leaders serving in 1,130 mission dioceses across Asia, Africa, Latin America, Oceania, and the Middle East.
