Započela devetnica svetom Mihovilu u katedrali sv. Jakova

The novena to Saint Michael, the heavenly patron of the City of Šibenik and the Diocese of Šibenik, began on the evening of Sunday, September 20, at the Cathedral of St. James.

Cathedral parish priest Krešimir Mateša led the first Mass and novena service. The liturgy featured performances by children's parish choirs from the Cathedral and Meterize parishes, along with guest singers from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Visoka, Split.

During his homily, Mateša spoke about the importance of honoring Saint Michael and encouraged the faithful to maintain regular prayer to the city and diocesan patron. He also discussed God's justice and the call to eternal life through the parable of the workers in the vineyard.
