Zmarł ks. Stanisław Małkowski – bliski współpracownik ks. Popiełuszki

Father Stanisław Małkowski has died, according to the Archdiocese of Warsaw. A former chaplain for the Solidarity movement and a close collaborator of Father Popiełuszko, Małkowski was also a sociologist and journalist.

Born on July 29, 1944, in Woli Korytnicka near Węgrowo, Małkowski studied sociology at the University of Warsaw. He was temporarily suspended from the university for participating in the March 1968 protests. He entered the Metropolitan Seminary in Warsaw in 1970 and was ordained a priest on December 22, 1974.

The Archdiocese of Warsaw has not yet released details regarding his funeral.
