Zuster Caecilia van de Bilt ✝

Sister Caecilia van de Bilt died early on September 18, 2026, according to the Suore di S. Maria Maddalena Postel. She served the religious community as a caregiver for seniors at centers in Gendringen, Vleuten, Utrecht, and Pannerden.

After moving to the Bosgalm house in Vleuten in 1998, she relocated to Haus Alenvelt in 2014 following the dissolution of her convent. In 2018, she moved to Boxmeer with her fellow sisters.

A farewell service for Sister Caecilia will take place at 14:00 on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the chapel of the Zusters van Julie Postel in Boxmeer, followed by her transfer to Bestwig. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:30 on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Dreifaltigkeitskirche of the Bergkloster in Bestwig, with the burial to follow at the monastery cemetery.
