Three Marianist brothers and two Dominican priests were killed on the El Pardo road in Madrid between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on September 14, 1936.

According to Jorge López Teulón, the men had spent the previous two months hiding together at nº 40 Calle Castelló. The three Marianist brothers were from the Colegio de El Pilar de Madrid. The report also notes that the chaplain of the same college, Padre Léibar, was killed during the early days of the persecution.
