Three centuries-old pedunculate oaks in the village of Babót serve as significant natural landmarks within the Diocese of Győr. Located on Béke Square, Fő Street, and Ordód Street, these trees have been under local protection since 1994. The oaks feature trunk circumferences between 3.5 and 4.3 meters and a combined crown area of 450 m2.

While local municipal records suggest the trees were planted in 1896, Dr. János Tardy disputes this, stating in a book on protected natural values that the oaks are legacy trees that grew along the banks of the Lőkös and Tordosa streams. Forestry engineer László Balsay holds this same view and recommended local protection for the trees in 1972.

These legacy trees, also known as lookout trees, are older specimens spared during forest clearing. Local residents have preserved the trees by shaping nearby paths to avoid damaging them. The oak on Béke Square is noted for its symmetry and includes two benches for public use.
