Ecuadoran lawyer Pablo Proaño questioned the lack of empathy regarding pregnancy loss after the death of Stefano, the son of Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa and his wife, Lavinia Valbonesi. The death was due to a pregnancy complication. Proaño said ‘an unborn child is a child’.
