Apostolic Nuncio celebrates Mass with Stafford students

Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendía, the Apostolic Nuncio to Great Britain, celebrated Mass with students at Blessed William Howard Catholic High School in Stafford on Tuesday, September 8. The Archbishop, who represents the Pope to the Church in Great Britain, joined two high school year groups and students from four local Catholic primary schools for the liturgy.

Bishop Timothy Menezes, the Area Bishop for Stafford, accompanied the Archbishop during the visit. Attendees included representatives from the local parish, school governors, the Kenelm Youth Trust, the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, and the Diocesan Education Service. The visit occurred during the Archbishop's four day trip to the country and took place shortly before Education Sunday.
