Archbishop Emeritus Samuel Aquila and Colorado Catholics build 15-year friendship with Tanzanian parish

Archbishop Emeritus Samuel Aquila, Father James Spahn, and Catholics from Northern Colorado have spent 15 years supporting a mission community and building schools in Tanzania.

The group has worked alongside Father Rafael Kabuche, a parochial vicar, to assist the Kristo community. Current efforts include the construction of a new high school for boys. Through this long-term relationship, the Colorado supporters have provided resources for schools and mission work while receiving spiritual enrichment from the Tanzanian parishioners.
