Catholics in Asia promote compassion for migrants
fides.org
Catholic communities in South and Southeast Asia are promoting a "choral compassion" to protect migrants from human traffickers. The initiative aims to create networks of welcome and humanitarian corridors. The effort is in response to maritime tragedies in the Bay of Bengal, where two boats carrying over 500 people recently capsized.
