Holy See Press Office announces press conference

The Holy See Press Office will hold a press conference on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. to present the IV Encuentro Sinodal «Fratelli Tutti»: diálogo socioambiental Norte-Sur. The meeting is scheduled for September 10 to 12, 2026, at the Casa Generalicia de La Salle in Rome.

Speakers for the conference include Cardinal Jaime Spengler, president of CELAM, Liz Schuler, president of the AFL-CIO, Bishop Daniel Flores, vice president of the USCCB, and Cardinal Leonardo Steiner, president of the CEAMA. Also participating are Gerardo Martínez, a member of the OIT Consejo de Administración, and Bishop Reginald Andrietta, coordinator of the CELAM Red del Trabajo Organizado.

The event will be streamed live on the Vatican News YouTube channel. Journalists wishing to participate remotely must submit requests through the Holy See Press Office online accreditation system at least two hours before the start of the conference.
