Bishop Fintan welcomes Ardens missionaries to UCC

Bishop Fintan welcomed Ardens missionaries to University College Cork (UCC) to continue faith ministry for university students. The new group takes over the mission previously held by FOCUS missionaries, who worked with the UCC chaplaincy for three years to support students in their faith journeys.

Ardens began its missionary work at UCC for the new academic year following a period of planning, orientation, and prayer at Mardyke House. The UCC chaplaincy team and the Ardens team spent several days preparing for this transition. Br Martin Kenneally facilitated these preparation sessions.
