Pope dispenses Robert Mendez Esquivel from priestly obligations

The Diocese of Boise announced the Holy Father granted a dispensation to former Reverend Robert Mendez Esquivel. He has been returned to the lay state and is no longer a cleric. This decision was communicated to Mr. Mendez Esquivel on August 6, 2026.
