Cardinal Müller recounts day on film set with Mel Gibson (OSV News)

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, the former prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, said he spent a full day on the film set of Mel Gibson’s upcoming movie about the Resurrection.

During an interview, Cardinal Müller said he and Gibson spoke for several hours during the day. He noted that the film addresses not only the historical event from 2,000 years ago but also the presence of the risen Jesus Christ as the head of the Church for believers today.

Cardinal Müller said Cardinal Raymond Burke, Rev. Franklin Graham, and Pastor Samuel Rodriguez were also present during the filming.
