Catholic Diocese in South Sudan Establishes Movements for Catholic Men, Women and Children

The Catholic Diocese of Tombura Yambio in South Sudan has established the Catholic Men Association, the Catholic Women Association, and the Diocesan Missionary Children Movement to encourage parishioners to participate in the mission of the Church.

Bishop Edward Hiiboro Kussala said the formation of these movements brings together men, women, and children in the diocese. He expressed gratitude to the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi for supporting the formation process. He noted that the team from Nairobi, led by Archbishop Philip Subira Anyolo, provided coaching and pastoral support during the years of preparation.
