Catholic Diocese in South Sudan Establishes Movements for Catholic Men, Women and Children

The Catholic Diocese of Tombura Yambio in South Sudan has established the Catholic Men Association, the Catholic Women Association, and the Diocesan Missionary Children Movement. Bishop Edward Hiiboro Kussala said the new groups aim to encourage the faithful to participate actively in the mission of the Church and unite all members of families within the diocese.

Bishop Hiiboro noted that the formation of these groups follows years of preparation. He credited the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi, led by Archbishop Philip Subira Anyolo, for providing pastoral support, coaching, and guidance throughout the formation process.
