Concordia Vox dedica inno a monsignor Moietta

The polyphonic choir Concordia Vox has dedicated a hymn titled “Ambasciatore di Cristo” to Monsignor Vittorio Moietta. The Diocese of Lamezia Terme announced the work, which honors the former bishop of Nicastro, now Lamezia Terme, whose cause for beatification is underway.

The hymn traces Moietta's life through his human, priestly, and episcopal journeys. The lyrics follow a specific structure to reflect his spirituality: the first stanza addresses his vocation, the second covers his pastoral service, the third and fourth stanzas focus on authentic faith, and the final stanza describes his trust in God during physical suffering.

The choir created the piece to honor the memory of the Servant of God within the Diocese of Lamezia Terme and his home Church of Casale Monferrato. The song uses sacred music and prayerful language to encourage people to rediscover the Gospel values Moietta practiced throughout his life.
