Congregației Surorilor Franciscane holds plenary council

The Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters, Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, held its plenary council from September 7 to 11, 2026. The meeting took place at Casa Kolping in Timișoara.

Members of the General Council from Rome, provincial superiors, and regional superiors from various areas of the congregation attended the gathering. The council focused on the theme of responding to God's call to be a light in a fragile world.
