Rev. Prof. Elias Omondi Opongo, SJ has assumed office as the new Rector and Vice-Chancellor of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He succeeds Very Rev. Prof. Stephen Mbugua Ngari. The transition ceremony was attended by members of the University community and key stakeholders.
