Father Silas Bogati, Apostolic Administrator of the Vicariate of Nepal, describes the recent floods in Nepal as the worst disaster in the country's history. The floods were triggered by a glacial collapse in the Himalayas and have affected several districts, including Rasuwa and Nuwakot. Around 25 Catholic families are in the disaster area and appear to be safe.
