Dom Gilson Meurer participates in Vatican course for new bishops

Bishop Gilson Meurer of the Diocese of Lages participated in an annual training course for recently appointed bishops at the Vatican. The program brought together 147 bishops from five continents to study, dialogue, and share experiences across different ecclesial contexts.

During the course, Bishop Meurer met with Pope Leo XIV. The training is organized by a Vatican dicastery to provide guidance and orientation to new members of the episcopate.
