El clero celebra hoy su convivencia de inicio de curso

Priests and deacons from the Diocese of Málaga and Melilla met on September 17 for a gathering to begin the new academic year. Bishop José Antonio Satué led the meeting, which included retired bishop Jesús Catalá and a wide representation of clergy serving the local pastoral communities.

During the meeting at the Casa Diocesana, Bishop Satué introduced an internal survey for the clergy and began the planning process for the diocesan pastoral plan. The bishop stated that this year will be dedicated to studying the current reality of the diocese so that the upcoming plan is specifically designed for the local Church. He noted that the following year will focus on writing and finalizing the plan.

The day's schedule included a presentation of the survey, a briefing on the itinerary for drafting the 2028–2033 Pastoral Plan, and a shared lunch. José Emilio Cabra, the delegate for the clergy, led the group in prayer during the session.
