El Encuentro Diocesano de Coros Parroquiales será el 26 de septiembre

The Diocese of Cartagena will host the XXXI Diocesan Meeting of Parish Choirs on September 26 at San Agustín Parish in Fuente Álamo. Parish choirs can register for the event through an online form until September 22.

The meeting begins at 9:00 hours with training led by Father Ramón Navarro, the episcopal delegate for liturgy. The schedule includes games for children, the celebration of the Eucharist, and moments of prayer and adoration, with the possibility for those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Perdón. At 15:30 hours, the parish will host a festival where participating choirs can share the songs they have prepared for the occasion.

Organizers chose the theme Cantar es orar dos veces, a phrase attributed to Saint Augustine, to highlight how liturgical singing serves as a form of praise and encounter with God.
